SEO
Search has changed. Google still matters, but your customers are now finding businesses through AI tools, voice search, and generative platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews. A proper SEO strategy in 2026 needs to work across all of it. That’s what we do.
What Does an SEO Agency Actually Do?
Most people know SEO means ranking higher on Google. Fewer people know what actually goes into making that happen, or why it takes the time it does.
At a practical level, SEO involves making sure your website is technically sound, your content matches what your customers are actually searching for, and your site has enough authority for Google to trust it. None of those things happen overnight, but when they’re done consistently and correctly, the results compound in a way that paid advertising simply can’t replicate.
We cover every part of that process, from the initial audit through to ongoing strategy, content, link building, and reporting.
If your site has issues under the bonnet, no amount of content will fix it. We audit and resolve crawlability problems, site speed, mobile performance, structured data, indexing issues, and anything else that might be limiting how Google reads and ranks your site.
This is the work that makes individual pages rank. Keyword research, content structure, title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking, and making sure every page is built around what your customers are actually searching for.
Google ranks sites it trusts. Building that trust means earning links and mentions from credible, relevant sources. We develop a link strategy that grows your domain authority over time without shortcuts that carry long-term risk.
Content is one of the most powerful SEO tools available, but only when it’s planned properly. We build content strategies around real search data, then write the articles, guides, and service pages that rank, educate, and convert.
If your business serves a specific area, local SEO makes sure you appear when people nearby are searching. Google Business Profile, local citations, and location-targeted content all play a role. We work with businesses across the UK and have a strong track record in local SEO, including here in Liverpool.
SEO in 2026: It’s Not Just About Google Anymore
This is the part most agencies aren’t talking about yet, and it matters.
The way people search is changing faster than at any point in the last decade. Google’s AI Overviews now answer questions directly in the search results, often before a user clicks on anything. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot are all being used as search tools by millions of people every day. Your customers are asking these platforms which dentist to visit, which accountant to use, which product to buy.
If your business isn’t being cited as a source by these tools, you’re invisible to a growing share of your market.
What Is GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation)?
Generative Engine Optimisation is the practice of making your content visible and citable within AI-generated responses. Where traditional SEO focuses on ranking in a list of links, GEO focuses on becoming the source that AI tools use when they answer a question.
It requires content that is authoritative, well-structured, factually dense, and written with clarity. The same things that make great SEO content also make content that AI tools cite. The difference is in how you structure it and how comprehensively you cover a topic.
What Is AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation)?
AEO is about structuring your content so it gets pulled directly into answer formats, whether that’s a Google featured snippet, a People Also Ask result, or an AI Overview. This means writing direct, quotable answers to the questions your customers are already asking, and organising your content so search engines and AI tools can extract those answers cleanly.
How We Approach AI Visibility
We track AI visibility as a metric alongside traditional ranking data. For every client, we monitor how many of their target keywords are appearing in AI-generated responses across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, and Perplexity. We then build content and on-page strategy specifically designed to improve that visibility over time.
This isn’t theoretical. It’s something we’re already doing for clients, with measurable results.
SEO Case Studies
The best way to explain what we do is to show it.
High Street
When High Street came to us, they were averaging position 30.7 in Google search results. That’s page three or four, where almost no one clicks. By the end of 2025, their average position across target keywords had moved to 10.6. That’s page one. Daily impressions went from a peak of 1,154 to 5,980, and clicks followed the same trajectory upward. Both organic traffic and impressions rose together, which tells you the right keywords are being targeted and the content is matching what users are looking for.
By December 2025, High Street had 29 keywords appearing in AI-generated results across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, and AI Overviews.
Bank Dental
Bank Dental came to us with a brand new website in May 2025. Starting from zero organic visibility, we built an SEO strategy from the ground up, including an AI search component from day one. Within months, the site was climbing consistently across its primary keywords, reaching 45.6K total impressions and a 3.6% CTR, above the industry average. By December 2025, the site had 14 keywords appearing in AI Mode search results.
Chapel
We took over Chapel’s SEO in March 2025. The results since then: a 380% increase in organic traffic and a 944% increase in impressions. By December 2025, the site was appearing in 25 AI Overview results and had 20 total AI visibility mentions across platforms.
Cromer
Cromer came to us mid-2025. There’s always a short settling period when a new agency takes over, and we’re transparent about that. What the data shows is that by January 2026, daily impressions were already exceeding what the site was achieving at the same point the previous year, and the average position had moved from 43.6 to 18.3 in just a few months.
What Good SEO Management Looks Like
One of the most common questions we get is: what are you actually doing each month?
It’s a fair question. SEO can feel abstract if your agency isn’t communicating clearly. Here’s how we work.
Every month you get a clear report covering rankings, traffic, impressions, clicks, and AI visibility. We explain what’s moved, why it’s moved, and what we’re focusing on next. No jargon, no vanity metrics, no hiding behind complexity.
Beyond reporting, each month involves a combination of technical work, content production, link building activity, and strategic review. The balance shifts depending on where you are in the process. Early months are often heavier on technical and foundational work. As the site matures, content and authority building take more of the focus.
We also review your competitors regularly. If something in your market is shifting, we want to spot it before it affects your rankings.
How It Works
- Free SEO Audit: We start with a thorough audit of your current site covering technical health, keyword positioning, content gaps, backlink profile, and AI visibility. This gives us a clear picture of where you are and what needs to happen first.
- Strategy and Keyword Research: We build a keyword strategy around what your customers are actually searching for, mapped to their intent at every stage of the buying journey, from early awareness through to ready-to-buy.
- Technical Foundations: Any technical issues that are limiting your performance get resolved first. This is the groundwork that everything else builds on.
- Content and On-Page Optimisation: We optimise existing pages and, where needed, create new content built specifically to rank and to be cited by AI tools.
- Authority Building: We develop a link building strategy to grow your site’s credibility over time.
- Monthly Reporting and Ongoing Strategy: Clear, honest reporting every month with a forward-looking plan. SEO is a long-term investment and we manage it accordingly.
SEO Packages
We offer SEO packages at different levels of activity, from businesses that need solid foundations and consistent monthly progress, to those looking for a more aggressive programme covering content, authority building, and AI visibility as a core part of the strategy.
The right package depends on your market, where you’re starting from, and how quickly you want to move. A business with a relatively new website in a competitive sector has different needs to one that already has strong foundations and wants to push further up the rankings.
We start every new SEO relationship with a thorough audit of your current position. That audit informs the proposal, so you’ll know exactly what we’re recommending, why, and what it covers before you commit to anything.
Who We Work With
We work with businesses of all sizes across the UK, from independent retailers and professional services firms to healthcare providers and hospitality brands. If your customers search for what you do online, SEO is relevant to you.
Based in Liverpool, we’ve built a strong track record with local businesses and national brands alike. We’re used to working across different industries and adapting our approach to what actually works in your market.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most businesses start seeing meaningful movement in rankings and traffic within three to six months, though this depends on the competitiveness of your market, the current state of your website, and the keywords you’re targeting. SEO is a long-term investment and the results compound over time. We’re transparent about realistic timelines from the start.
Paid ads put you at the top of Google immediately but stop the moment you stop paying. SEO builds visibility that doesn’t disappear when you pause a campaign. Most businesses benefit from both working together, but SEO is typically more cost-effective over the medium and long term.
Yes. We track AI visibility alongside traditional search rankings and build content specifically to be cited by AI-generated responses. This includes Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and AI Mode. It’s a relatively new discipline but one we’re already delivering results in for our clients.
Each month involves some combination of technical monitoring and fixes, content creation or optimisation, link building activity, competitor analysis, and reporting. The focus shifts as your site matures. You’ll receive a clear monthly report explaining exactly what’s been done and what we’re working on next.
Our SEO packages start from £650 per month. The right package depends on your market, your current position, and how quickly you want to grow. We’ll always recommend the option that makes the most sense for your situation, and we’ll be honest if SEO isn’t the right priority for you right now. (LINK TO SEO PACKAGES PAGE)
